A recent break up of your long-term relationship has left you heart broken and confused as to where you and your ex are heading, since all you want is to get back together with him/her. You cannot make out if there is any chance that your ex is still interested in getting back with you. So how do you find out? Well, there is hardly any reason to worry. There are a number of tell-tell signs that you can look out that shall help you to gauge the level of interest that your ex still holds for you.
• When you meet up your ex after the break up, make an effort to look attractive. Wear a new piece of clothing, wait and watch if you are complimented by your ex. If he/she does notice that you are looking different and attractive, it means that you still hold interest for your ex.
• When you talk to your ex, keep a tab of his/her actions. If they seem interested in what you have to say and if they even go ahead and stop the job at hand to give you their undivided attention, it would show that they are still wiling to sacrifice their time for you. This is a very strong positive signal in your favor.
• When the two of you are talking, try to direct the topic of conversation towards your break up. If your ex sounds remorseful about the break up, this means that he/she might he looking for ways to get back with you too.
• If you are casually seeing a colleague at work, slide in the information lightly when you talk to your ex. Then, wait and watch for his/her reaction. If they turn moody or inquisitive, you definitely have reasons to rejoice! However, do not come across as too strong when you tell him/her about your date. This might blow up on your face as they might end up thinking that you are trying to make him jealous because you still feel for him (which, after all, is the case!)
• Now look into the other side of the situation and ask him/her if they are dating anyone. If you notice your ex changing the subject or avoiding answering the question, it is very possible that you are the only one who still holds his/her interest.
• Again, if your ex still calls you up a lot and gives you an update on all the small things going on his/her life, there is a very good chance that you still hold a very important part in their life, and you can surely hope that this might result in a renewal of your relationship. In addition, if there are times when your ex had promised to call you up, but could not do so, notice the actions. If he/she apologies and gives you reasons for the failure to keep the word, it means that he/she still cares about your opinions and still is a good sign.
• If the time and situation feels right, indulge in some light flirtation with your ex. If he/she flirts back and shows interest, you know you have a great thing going there!
• They say eyes are the windows to one’s soul. So what better way to make out what might be in your ex’s heart than reading their eyes?
• Try to maintain contact with your partner as often as you can. Do not however be pushy about it, as this shall end up alienating your ex further away.
• If your partner still likes to hold your hands when you are in public or if she/he still likes to maintain some sort of physical contact, it means that your ex find you irresistible.
While you attempt to get your ex back into your life, do not make an effort to change him/her. If you cannot accept them as they are, then probably you should not try to renew the relationship and this shall cause further heartbreak for the both of you. You yourself too should be your real self in front of your ex. Remember that you cannot make him/her fall in love with you all over again by being someone else, as you shall not be able to keep up the façade forever. So, just make sure to read the signs right and go ahead and win your ex back if your heart says that this is exactly what you want.
