If your boyfriend has recently broken up the relationship, you must be feeling intensely lost, angry and depressed. You might even feel that you will never be able to get over the intense pain and suffering of this heartbreak and your life itself has come to a stand still. However, the truth is, no matter how hopeless the situation looks to you now, you will be able to get over your ex and come out as happier and more mature woman.
So now, it is time that you go ahead and begin the metaphorical ritual of cleaning out the closet – moving on with your life. Heck, go ahead and literally clean your closet of all the junk that your boyfriend left behind too, while you are at it!
The fear that rakes you from within is the knowledge that you might never be loved again. A breakup can make your self-confidence suffer a huge beating. But you should realize that the fears are completely unfounded. You will not only find someone who loves you for the woman that you are, but you will also be intensely happy to be with the man. Therefore, as said earlier, have faith and try to move on from your present break up.
The Tips to move on
Okay, so you know you should move on. But HOW? It’s not that tough, just remember that you need to be intensely strong if you really want to get over the pain of your break up. Never forget that even though your boyfriend is no longer a part of your life, you still have friends and family to help and support you through the tough times.
Often, when you are too involved in a relationship, you tend to give less time to your friends and family. Now that you are single again, utilize the time to give them some much-deserved attention. Since these people have brought meaning to your life, you should not neglect them. In fact, sharing your heartbreak with them will help you to recover faster from the depression. This is because, once you come clean about your breakup with your family and friends, they will share their own experiences and you will soon realize that a breakup isn’t the end of the world. Numerous people have faced severe heartbreaks in their lives and yet have been able to have happy and fulfilling lives!
Cultivate new hobbies or get interested in the old
Now that you have a lot of time at your disposal, you should engage yourself by going back to doing things that you used to enjoy before you got involved with your ex. Often, when you are in a relationship, the things that you enjoy, takes a backseat because you need to spend time with your boyfriend, or maybe because your ex did not like those activities. However, now you have enough time to enjoy and do these activities.
If you cannot think of any activity that you can go back to, try to cultivate a new hobby. Joining a dance class, or an exploration group, or even a cooking class can do wonders to improve your mood and help you get over the depression over the break up.
You will notice that as you begin to get involved in the new schedule of your life, the initial pain over your break up will begin to soften. You will no longer feel as hurt you were feeling. Remember that one of the best revenges that you can get for being dumped is to move on and forget about your ex. So do not allow yourself to wallow over him.
